1. Who we are
SPORTIFI ("we", "us") operates a sports event registration and timing platform at www.sportifiindia.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use the Site.
2. Data we collect
Account data (name, email, phone, DOB, gender), payment metadata (order id, amount — full card / UPI details are handled solely by Razorpay), registration data (event, category, T-shirt size, emergency contact, medical declaration), device and log data (IP, browser, OS, timestamps) captured for security and audit purposes.
3. How we use your data
To create your account, register you for events, send race-day communications, issue certificates, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and improve the platform. Aggregated / anonymised statistics may be published in marketing materials.
4. Sharing your data
With the organizer of every event you register for (name, email, phone, category, emergency contact, medical declaration). With Razorpay to process payments. With our timing crew for BIB / RFID chip attribution. We do not sell your data to third parties.
5. Retention
Registration records are retained for the lifetime of the event + 7 years for accounting / tax purposes. Audit logs are retained for 3 years. Soft-deleted events are permanently purged after 30 days.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your personal data by writing to privacy@sportifiindia.com. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days, subject to any statutory retention obligations.
7. Cookies
We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and privacy-respecting analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. No third-party ad networks are loaded.
8. Security
TLS in transit, at-rest encryption of sensitive fields, bcrypt-hashed passwords, role-based access control, and a full audit log of all administrative actions. New-device login alerts are enabled for organizer and admin accounts.
9. Changes
We will notify registered users by email at least 15 days before any material change to this policy.
